The problem is that over time, I cannot add values without somtimes having a current value in the list dissappear from the web page listing after a new value is added. My value lists are longish (approx 30 entries). Examination of the metaData.metaTypes.metadata.valueList table where this problem exists shows that there are not unique ording numbers for some value list entries and it appears that the problem shows up when act_addToValueList builds the display list. I see three ways to fix this: 1) fix act_addToValueList so that it looks it's better at setting the ordering, 2) fix the act_deleteFromValueList so that if items are deleted, the ordering is for entire value list is reset with no gaps or 3) fix dsp_buildValueListForm sot that if there are mulitple values for a single ordering position, then they are not overwritten in a listing (as they appear to be now).
